In this paper we discuss a new type of continuous functions called almost slightly νg−continuous functions; its properties and interrelation with other continuous functions are studied.

The notion of contra continuous functions was introduced and investigated by Dontchev. We define a function f : X → Y to be slightly β-continuous if for every clopen set V of Y , f−1(V)⊂ Cl(Int(Cl(f−1(V)))). We obtain several properties of such a function.
